Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but Andrew and I should be getting passes to look over Artania in S'ton in July !!

Hopefully she will look so different she won't remotely be Artemis at all !

Wear a blindfold Sharon, it won't upset you then. :D I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I'll just have the think of her as a different ship !! Then I shouldn't need blindfolds and tissues !! Have to brush up on my very basic German though !! At the moment all I can order is two beers !!

Morning -my first post in here. Can you tell me a little of this ship -I'm assuming its a re-vamped Artemis? Who will she sail under- is it adult only? Any other details you would like to offer-thanks.

Welcome to Crows Nest Moody.

Yes - she is a re-built Artemis, now cruising for Phoenix Reisen. She is not adult-only to my knowledge, although no children's facilities I think. You do have to speak fluent German to cruise on her though. If you Google Artania - you can see plans and cruises.

Thanks Sharon -I see you have booked on Adonia -I think we may well be interested in her. Do you -or anyone know when the Oriana sails as an adult-only ship?

Oriana is adult only from the end of November 2011 following the refit.

Yes, they have been for some time. You can also see them on the P&O website

Yes - I have already booked Oriana as an adult-only ship, with one of the two single cabins. Adonia is lovely, although I don't like the deck surfaces and the storage in the cabins is dreadful !! But the decor and public rooms are beautiful.
